Solar Mate can also be used on its own to charge small batteries up to 7 Ah or to maintain large batteries in a charged state when inactive for long periods. (battery must be disconnected from system) Ideal in Marine and Agricultural applications where vehicles and crafts are inactive for extended periods and stored outdoors. Solarmate can also be used on 24 volt systems by simply installing 1 panel per 12v battery without altering the original wiring.
